Quorn Medical Centre

Amber Flood Alert in place - 14.11.25

We have received a notification to say that there is a flood alert in place in Quorn and the surrounding villages due to heavy rain expected tonight and over the weekend. If you have an appointment with us on Monday, please check our website and Facebook page for updates. If we are unable to access our building and we are unable to open, we will advise you of how to seek medical care. Hopefully, we won't be affected too badly and it'll be business as usual.

You Said, We Did

You said that there is only one chair in the waiting room with a higher seat and arms and requested that we look at getting another.

We agreed this would be benefical and have now purchased another chair.

You said you were struggling to get through on the phone.

We have implemented a new phone system that includes a call back feature.  If you are more than 10th in the queue you will get an option to request a call back and you place in the queue will be maintained.  Once your reach the front of the queue our system will call you back and connect you to the surgery where a patient co-ordinator will respond to your query.

You said that the porch was cramped and it was difficult to access the automatic door pad.

We have moved one of our clinical bins into another area to allow more space and access.
